confronTI completes the range of basic services offered by the Istituto Ricerche Economiche (IRE) together with CODE (its Observatory for Economic Dynamics, CODE), in their mission to provide a sound support to the economy of the region.
Through confronTI, IRE wants to achieve the following targets:
- To organise an annual event that is 'inter-regionally significant' for Ticino's economy;
- To promote debate on major issues typical of the region's economy;
- to draw up an annual report on the state of the cantonal economy covering inter-regional and national realities as well as the neighbouring cross-border areas;
- to publicise the activities and research projects conducted at the Institute (IRE).
