Monte Verità is a Conference Centre that was converted from its original historic premises (an estate overlooking the town of Ascona, to host activities of a cultural and scientific nature.

Monte Verità plays host to a series of regular events such as:

• International seminars promoted by the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology;
• Activities sponsored by universities and cultural and scientific research institutes;
• Cultural and arts forums and events associated to Monte Verità;
• Conferences and study days with a local, national or international scope.

How to get there

By car
On the A2 Chiasso-Basel Motorway, take the Exit for Locarno-Ascona.

By train
International Gotthard Rail Tunnel route:
To reach Locarno:
from Zurich: 3 hour
from Milan: 2 ½ hours

By air
Lugano-Agno Airport : regular daily flights to Geneva, Zurich, and other European cities. Monte Verità is some 40 km away from Agno.
